There used to be a moment when more experienced filmmakers would roll their eyes when emerging filmmakers and students raved about reasons why their 'debut' film would be in black and white. But no more. Black and White is the new vogue and classic way of making films, with both Mad Max Fury Road and Logan both getting re-releases in this form.
